President Terri Linman has been a member of SDCUE since 1993. She is currently an instructor at SDSU in the Ed Tech department, works with the SDCOE on the American HITS (History in the Schools) project and volunteers with the iVIE Awards. She holds her Master’s degree in Educational Technology from SDSU. Terri is dedicated to helping SDCUE grow stronger and looks forward to the NECC conference here in July 2006!
Treasurer Patty MacIntyre works as a Project Specialist for the San Diego County Office of Education. She has a Masters degree in Computer Education from United States International University and has taught middle school math for over twenty years. She has been an active SDCUE member since 1983, serving as Treasurer for the past three years. She received the CUE Gold Disk award in 2002.
Vice-President: Vice President of Professional Development and Activities BJ Afeman currently works at the San Diego County Office of Education as a project specialist, planning and implementing technology professional development activities for teachers in San Diego County. Bj is also a member of the advisory board for innovative Video In Education (iVIE). He is a graduate student in Educational Technology at SDSU and has worked as a teacher at Excelsior Academy in San Diego.
Vice-President: Communications June Dodge is currently a volunteer webmaster for the High Tech High Parent Association and for SDCUE. She has taught students ranging from grade 2 to university, usually teaching Computer Integration, Language Arts, Reading, or ESL. She has served as Director of Curriculum and Technology for an independent study charter school and coordinated the evaluation of English/Language Arts software for the California Technology Instructional Clearinghouse. She was awarded a CUE Gold Disk in 1986 after writing the documentation for FrEdWriter and coordinating the FrEdLessons project for SDCOE. She has a Masters degree in Education (Secondary Reading) from CSULB. She was the founding president of Orange County CUE and also served as president of SDCUE.

Vice-President: Partnerships Cynthia Sistek-Chandler, current SDCUE secretary and past SDCUE vice president, received a CUE Gold Disk in 2001 for her service to our organization. As an adjunct teacher in Educational Technology for both National University and Alliant International University, Cynthia will be completing her doctorate in Ed Tech at SDSU and USD in 2005. She is currently an account executive for Thomson Gale Publishing.
Vice-President: Vice President of Membership & Online Community Development Dr. Katie Klinger - Dr. Katie Klinger has over 25 years experience in teaching students of all ages how to use technology. She presents at international conferences and publishes on how to integrate technology into K-12 environments. Dr. Klinger designed National University’s Virtual High School, served as Lead Faculty for the Educational Technology master’s degree program at National University and was awarded over $2 million dollars in grants. She holds an Ed. D. from United States International University (specializing in Computer Education), an MBA, and a BBA in Accounting.
