Dear Exhibitor,
Thank you for your participation in the 26th annual Tech Fair hosted by San Diego Computer Using Educators, and joined this year by San Diego Science Educators Association. We are looking forward to a great time and appreciate your contribution. Below are the “details” of how all of this “plays out”.
The conference is being held at El Cajon Valley HIgh School which is located at 1035 E Madison Ave., El Cajon, CA 92021. This is just south of Interstate 8 in El Cajon. Take the Mollison Exit south for a couple of blocks and go east on Madison Ave. Here is a link to a Google Maps satellite photo of the school. http://tinyurl.com/ygerjet
Friday evening there will be a crew of hard working volunteers setting up the exhibits area in the El Cajon Valley High School gym. We will probably be ready for exhibitor set up to begin about 5:30 p.m. This “move in” time will be for those with extensive set up needs who can not set up between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m. on Saturday morning. We plan to end this early set up session at 7 p.m. and thank you in advance for your cooperation in finishing by that time. While the gym will be locked over night, please be aware that there will be not added security, so be careful about what is left overnight if you are partially setting up Friday evening.
Saturday morning at 7 a.m. the doors of the ECVHS gym will be opened for set up.The gym is on the back edge of the parking lot, as you turn in off of East Madison Avenue, at the school’s red lettered electronic marquee. You can bring your display items into the gym from either end, but there are more doors on the east end (away from the lunch area). The lunch area is shown with a red roof in the photo of ECVHS from space on Google Maps. The gym has the light gray roof just below and to the right of the red roofed lunch area.
Find the table with your company’s name and set up there. Ask for Chuck Abel at the SDCUE/SDSEA tables if you are having difficulties. The conference hours, and exhibits hours, are from 8 Saturday morning until 3 p.m., at which time the exhibit area is filled to capacity as we have a door prize drawing. Tear down follows the end of the conference at 3 on Saturday.
